This is a unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere, the long lost French varietal, disappeared in France with philloxera in the 19th century, which was re-discovered in the last decade, growing almost wild in Chile. Aurelio Montes considers this blend a real achievement, showing Carmenere at its best. It's color is a beautiful ruby red, with a delicate chocolate aroma also reminiscent of vanilla, coffee and butter scotch.
