Stevia blended with other sweeteners. Certified Vegan. vegan.org. Naturally gluten-free food. Rooted in Brooklyn, the In The Raw sweetener family business began long before the natural food movement. Since introducing our original Sugar In The Raw in 1970, we have branched out into other sweetener sources found in nature giving us Agave In The Raw, Monk Fruit In The Raw and of course Stevia In The Raw. That leads us to this baker's bag of zero-calorie Stevia In The Raw: one cup equals the sweetness of one cup of sugar. It's a simple swap! So you can enjoy indulgent treats while reducing calories. How sweet is that? Easy Conversion: 1 cup sugar = 1 cup stevia in the raw. It's a Piece of Cake: Baking with Stevia In The Raw baker's bag formula is easy because it measures exactly the same as sugar. For best results, replace half the sugar that is called for in cakes, cookies, brownies, blondies and all kinds of baked goods recipes. Why only half? Keeping half the sugar is important for moisture, browning and rising. So give it a try and turn your baked goods into baked greats with fewer calories. Baking Tip: Looking to make your treats extra moist? Try taking them out of the oven a bit earlier than the time called for. Stevia is naturally sweeter than sugar. So, like many zero-calorie sweeteners, it is blended with maltodextrin. This helps create the perfect balance of sweetness, making it easier to both pour and measure.
