Estate grown and bottled. Wetzel family estate. This 2007 Cabernet Franc is loaded with flavors of cherry, mocha and spice, while gracing the palate with its silky texture and moderate tannins. Aged in small French oak barrels for fourteen months, it will gain additional complexity with age. The Alexander Valley yields distinctive grapes and wines recognized worldwide. Our property resides on the homestead of pioneer Cyrus Alexander, for whom the valley is named. We produce delicious estate grown wines, rich in varietal character. Alcohol 14.0% by vol.

Our red blend is made with organic grapes in France at a family-owned winery. Our producer hand-picks and dry farms the grapes. Our red wine is also free of added sugars, concentrates, and colors. Bonus, it is vegan friendly. We use minimal sulfites, a natural by-product of fermentation, to stabilize the wine. We also use bentonite clay, a naturally-occurring, ultra-fine clay to bind proteins in the wine, and then carefully filter it out to help maintain clarity in the wine.
