The grapes for this wine were picked early in the season to achieve a natural acidity that’s ideal for warm-weather drinking. To ensure as little extraction from the skins as possible, we used the direct press method, retaining the delicate fruit aromas and pale color rosé is known for. This French wine is a blend of 41% Grenache, 27% Syrah, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cinsault and 5% Rolle. Instead of using a single approach to each fermentation, the winemakers break up each vineyard into parts, using different yeasts, juice solids and lees treatments so each tank is a little different and brings a unique perspective in the final blend. This bottled wine has 12.9% alcohol by volume and comes in a screw cap bottle for easy opening without a corkscrew. The Bieler family has been producing Rose from Provence since the 1990’s.
